The Basics...

The Internet is now 20 years old as we know it, however it's start can actually be tracked back to the 1950's! Yet it has grown exponentially in ways few could see in the beginning. Back in the day it was a bit easier to create webpages, however they were seldom the quality one could get out of their basic word processor, but looking like a text document. Within maybe the first five years it evolved so quickly that many had trouble keeping up with the changes in rules and functions, some happening daily. Many a designer fell by the wayside, due to the frustration of clients wanting the impossible, and not understanding what was needed, and the excruciating pace that things were moving.

Flash forward 20 years, and we've seen dot com millionaires, come and go, software has improved dramatically, and DIY sites are everywhere, promising you can have your website with all the extras you desire overnight, for a song… Albeit an fairly pricey song but still you get a site of sorts. Presenting your business to the world can be a daunting task without the right guidance, knowledge, tools, message, and a friendly, and functional website.

At Creative TaLantz, we help you conquer this task. We'll assist you in making choices that fit your needs and budget. Speaking of budgets, ever wonder about creating your own website to save money? It's a noble thought, as we all know how tight budgets effect every aspect of our businesses. Learning how to create a website from scratch is comparable to learning a foreign language (without Rosetta Stone). Considering the many aspects involved in the process, the time involved in learning website design, editing software, site management, search engine submission, domain names and hosting, etc.

Every teenager knows how to create anything on a computer. I mean really who doesn't know a teenager that knows it all? We're kidding, in reality, while some folks (our youth included) have some knowledge, yet it's difficult to compare that to a seasoned designer. The savings you considered, can end up costing you more in a complete redesign, and let's not forget your image and reputation are on the line too.

So Why Does Your Business Need A Website?

Eyes in the dark

Not online?

If you have already made all the money you'll ever want, you might not. However, if you have that much money starting a website to help others could work. Let's face it as technology improves everyday, more and more products and services are moving to the internet. Consumers expect companies to have a website, and some rate your credibility by this fact alone. That's why a professionally designed site is in most companies' best interest, your image, reputation, and credibility with your customers is what is at risk.

Still not sure? Take a look around you and count the number of people on smart phones, or using the internet to look up or download something. Everybody uses the internet, in fact it's used more than and fast replacing the phonebook. You are in business to hopefully make money, but if people can't see your products or services the likelihood of these potential customers going to your competitor is pretty good, especially if they are online.

Currently 22 percent of the earth population surf the internet, or more precisely 1.1 billion people have regular web access. Picture this, in downtown anywhere USA, opening up a brick & mortar business on the main parkade, not hanging a sign, blacking out all the windows, and sitting inside with no lights on waiting for the phone to ring a or customer to walk in. Clearly a business without a web presence is very similar to that picture, hence the reason your company needs a web presence. Read More...

Stuck in a box, with minimal flexibility?

What About Templates?

Many DIY sites are based on templates that at best leave a lot to be desired. These templates are not very flexible, leaving you stuck inside a box, unsure of how to get out. We use templates in our design as well, however, we design them with your needs in mind, to carry your desired theme across all of the pages in your site. As an example the very page you're reading is one of several templates created to assist in the design of our site.

We recommend, however, that clients look at many sites both similar and dissimilar (templates or actual sites) to have a good idea of how they might like their site to look. We'll ask you for URLs to the sites you like to help create your unique design. We are confident that we can reproduce that look and feel with more flexibility to better suit your needs.

At Creative TaLantz, designing websites is our passion. In fact we can hardly go anywhere without envisioning a potential website, whether the business has one already or not. We do concede that some folks prefer templates and a DIY management of their sites and actually have an option for that in our hosting section, if you prefer that arrangement.

When we design, we like to incorporate as many facets of you and your company as possible into each design. This gives the viewer (your potential customers) the feeling that they are actually inside your facility, dealing directly with you. With every new site we create, we find new ways to present you to your customers. We work hard to meet your needs, so you can focus on what you do best - your business. We're ready to start planning how best to present you and your business to the world at large. Contact us today and let's start the process!
